The Weekly Reader announced that it will cease publication and 55 of 60 of its employees in White Plains, New York would be fired. The U.S. Department of Labor Statistics announced that it will add the fifty-five people to its list of unemployed, now at 12,766,423, taking the number to 12,766,478.

A mere nine months ago, as top Penn State officials announced the firing of Joe Paterno, thousands of students stormed the downtown area displaying their bitterness anger, frustration and stupidity.

No So Random Fact: You pessimists out there take note. We just wrote an article about this, but it makes sense to REPEAT. Teen births are at their lowest level in almost 70 years. Birthrates for ages 15-19 in all racial and ethnic groups are lower than ever reported in history.
